Devo Review

1.) Satan wants us to think light is dark and that dark is light - he wants us to think what is evil is good, and what is good is evil.

2.) Satan is a murderer, his ultimate goal is always to rob, steal, kill, and destroy. Nothing short of this. Satan is Anti-Life.

3.) Satan is a liar, his normal mode of operation is deception. He tricks people. He masquerades as “light”, but is actually from the dark.

4.) Satan is an accuser, he works in accusations that he brings to both God and us. This results in condemnation which is guilt without hope and has no place in the life of a believer.

5.) One of Satan’s most common lies is, “ you surely won’t die” - despite that fact that the wages of sin is always death… SOMEbody's going to die. For the believer that someone was and is Christ.

6.) Satan fights against productivity. He does NOT want more life. He wars against God’s first command: “be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it.” His lies NEVER bring about life… they CAN’T. Only Christ holds the keys to life.

7.) Satan is dead set against the image of God - and that includes the way that it is present in human beings. Satan will always try to attack our humanity… strip us of human-ness… and make us think we are simply animals. This is another one of his lies. It is another reason he fights against LIFE, because an increase in human life is an increase in the image of God in this world.

8.) Our battle as believers is not against other humans

9.) We have been given weapons to counter the enemy… to fight back. We, as Christians, are not immune to evil spirits, the enemy, or poor patterns of thinking. God has equipped us with “divine power” to deal with these attacks.

10.) Satan will be conquered and destroyed in that he will be thrown into the lake of fire where he will be tormented forever and absent from the new earth.
